• Owned and operated WOLF CREEK SKI ADVENTURES, 
(Snow Cat & Extreme Adventure Skiing) on 39,000 acres of the Uinta National Forest in the mountains of northern Utah. This was one of the largest recreational land use permits ever granted in the United States. Nearly 30,000 skier days conducted with a solitary cut lip being the only injury sustained by a paid client. (This business was forced to close following several years ofdrought.)

• Directed the WOLF CREEK BEARCAT WILDFIRE SUPPRESSION TEAM, specializingin logistics, communications and transportation on the front lines for large forest fires (Class I and II). Extensive use of Infrared photographic reconnaissance. Under contract with the Federal Government (USDA Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management) during summer months. Intimately familiar with all Western States including an extensive network of contacts.

• Consultant to LOGAN MANUFACTURING COMPANY (Snow Cats) and the UNITEDSTATES ARMY TANK COMMAND for development of state-of-the-art, tracked all-terrain vehicles. Former Chairman of the UTAH SUSV GROUP in pursuit of Defense Department contracts to develop and produce this equipment.• Director of Marketing, CHALLENGE SPORTS CAMPS AND CLINICS, most notably theSki Racing Camp at Alta, Utah. Owner, SKI TUNING SKI REPAIR CENTER, Salt LakeCity, Utah. Owner and operator of SKI THE OTHER SIDE GUIDE SERVICE at ALTA,SNOWBIRD and PARK CITY ski resorts in Northern Utah. Thousands of skier daysconducted without incident.

•• Consultant / Director of National Consumer Accounts, Assistant to the Marketing Director in Consumer Services, AMOCO OIL CO. Numerous public relations and industrial productions (film). Supervised production of over 20 million continental USA road maps (79 map titles). Also directed advance operations in the Western Region for top level (Board of Directors etc.) management “retreats” etc.

SPECIAL INTERESTS AND EXPERIENCE:Author of non-fiction book entitled “BURNED...” chronicling personal experiences behind the fire lines in our National Forests. 

Author of numerous other non-fiction and fiction screenplays and short stories. 

Former professional extreme skier. One of the conceptual originators of the Avalanche Forecast Center. Continually active in snow safety, snow dynamics and avalanche hazard forecasting. Mapped the Wasatch Mountains of NorthernUtah for ski-mountaineering, hiking and climbing; personally verifying over 100 routes.

Former member ASTM/MIT committee for standardization of safety requirements for mountain climbing equipment. Also a former CPR & First Aid Instructor. 

Operator of a wide variety of heavy equipment and specialty vehicles. Experienced equestrian. Recreational pursuits include climbing, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, photography, river rafting, skiing, snowshoeing and trail running.
